about us

Kinsley Mary Sadie McMillan 20th March 2020 – 25th May 2022

Our brave, fearless and beautiful Kinsley became healed from brain cancer at midnight on 25 May 2022 and she is now safe for eternity. Kinsley is now receiving big hugs and kisses in heaven from her beloved Great Great Granny Bell. There are no words, no gestures, no possible way to convey the love, hope, and bravery of which Kinsley was able to accomplish over her time spent fighting the physical health challenges she was faced with. She left her mark on this world and was a winner in the way that mattered by bringing a global impact of awareness to paediatric brain tumours and the impact on the lives of all affected. She touched the hearts and minds of those that didn’t meet her and left her imprint on those that did meet her.
Kinsley was diagnosed in September 2020 age 5 months and quickly lost her vision from the cancer in November 2020. Kinsley could never be underestimated she had sass in spades and brought us so much joy, laughter and happiness. Please catch our hugs, kisses and love which we send up into heaven and return some back to your loving brother Freddie, Mummy and Daddy!
A lifetime with you would never have been long enough, but you were too pure and precious for this cruel world. Someone once said to me special children go to special families to show that mountains can be moved, Kinsley was definitely special and unique. Kinsley faced her battles like a princess facing a dragon with dignity pride and grace. We are blessed and proud to have been chosen to be your family. You came to Earth to be loved and be given a name. You taught us so much about courage, life love and family. Our pain will never be healed until you are in our arms again.
We promised Kinsley that when we were stronger we will honour her and her name we will honour you and your name, and help children fighting brain cancer, just like she would have wanted, we decided to honour this by setting up a Organisation to raise awareness of brain cancer and help to #accelerateacure

Get information about brain tumour symptoms and how they are diagnosed by healthcare professionals.

More than 11,700 people are diagnosed with a primary brain tumour each year. With over 130 different types of brain tumour already known to us, and with different areas of the brain controlling different functions, the symptoms associated with this disease can vary significantly from person to person in terms of the short and long term symptoms they cause.

Brain tumor awareness month is every March.   Please keep abreast our planned fundraising both on here and on our social media platforms.

Kinsley received the same treatment for her brain tumour as Karen Armstrong – daughter of astronaut Neil Armstrong who died in 1962. Treatments are the same 60 years later. Kisses from Kinsley is dedicated to raising awareness and fundraising for families diagnosed with brain cancer by supporting the research and developments of treatments.

“BRAIN TUMOURS RECEIVE JUST 1% OF THE NATIONAL SPEND ON CANCER RESEARCH”
